HAAS Earth Day Celebration

Join us for a special celebration connecting art, nature, and community history at the Haan Museum of Indiana Art!

The Haan Museum of Indiana Art will host a special eARTh Day celebration on Saturday, April 12th from 10AM to 4PM at 920 State Street, Lafayette, Indiana. This free community event commemorates Lafayette's Bicentennial while celebrating art and nature.

Presented collaboratively with Purdue University's John Martinson Honors College, the event will feature innovative lenticular sculptures, nature-based activities, and educational presentations. Visitors can enjoy sculpture tours throughout the museum grounds, live folk rock music performed by David Sparks, art-making projects, and various children's games.

Additional community partners include:

   ● Wabash & Erie Canal Park hosting old-fashioned games

   ● Girl Scouts USA creating interactive chalk paintings with guests

   ● AmeriCorps offering activities at their information booth

   ● Lafayette Urban Ministry assisting with planning and yard games

Museum admission will be discounted for all eARTh Day participants. All other activities are free. This is a rain or shine event!
