It's that time of year again, Red Ribbon Week is just around the corner! The 2017 celebration will be taking place the week of October 16-21

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention awareness campaign observed nationwide. In honor of this annual campaign, the Drug-Free Coalition of Tippecanoe County works together with community agencies to transmit a healthy and drug-free message to community members through various events.

The Red Ribbon Week Kick-Off Breakfast is an annual event held by the Drug-Free Coalition, with help from various community sponsors. Please save the date for Tippecanoe County's Kick-Off Breakfast, which will be held on Monday, October 16, at The Trails Banquet Facility (325 Burnetts Road, West Lafayette). The doors will open at 7:00 a.m., breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., and the guest speakers will begin at 8:00 a.m.

We are now taking reservations for the breakfast, so please mark your calendars and contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to reserve your tickets.

We will be celebrating again with various Purdue coaches, as well as our 2017-2018 RISE representatives. To find out more about the RISE program, please CLICK HERE

Another popular event that is coordinated by the Drug-Free Coalition is the Red Ribbon Week Bookmark Contest. Guidelines for submitting bookmarks and the parent permission form can be found HERE. Please reference this document for participation instructions. All bookmarks will be due no later than Monday, September 11th. These will be due at the Drug-Free Coalition office.

We are seeking individuals, businesses, and organizations willing to donate $100 sponsorships, which may allow twelve students to attend the breakfast.  If you or someone you know may be interested in helping to meet this need you, may click here to download a student sponsorship form.
