Responsible Alcohol Retailers in Tippecanoe County

The Drug-Free Coalition of Tippecanoe County, in partnership with Lafayette and West Lafayette Police Departments, conducts monthly alcohol compliance checks in Tippecanoe County. One of the Coalition's goals is to reduce the percentage of retailers who sell alcohol to minors.  We believe that helping our retailers avoid law violations, such as selling to minors, will help us avoid the problems that come with underage drinking such as crashes, injuries, violence, and other crime.

We believe that selling alcohol is a legitimate business and has a valid role in our community.  It is a privilege to sell alcohol and there are responsibilities attached to that privilege. We are proud of our retailers who continue to fulfill those responsibilities. Look for our billboard around town!

This list will be updated on a monthly basis. It will contain current alcohol retailers who have passed their compliance checks since January of 2009. Please check back often for updates. Stores must have two compliant checks after a violation in order for their name to reappear on the site!
